I've been on both sides of massive blowouts, and they're not really fun for anyone. Best bet: Don't tell the kids what division they're in. If they were in an elite travel league, they'd know, and that's fine. In this case, "we're playing the green team today" is all they need to know. It's good for a coach to tell parents if they're moving up or down a division just so everyone will know they're facing tougher or weaker competition.[/quote]
