It's not a union. It's the local affiliate of the National Board Certified Teachers Network, an organization that advocates for standards in the profession. We crossed paths with Renay Johnson years ago when she was principal at Takoma Park MS. She was a dynamic administrator and the TPMS magnet thrived under her leadership. I am not at all surprised she won an award. As for her use of social media, it makes her a great role model for her CAP students. [/quote]
