This is why in the end I still went public.  I got a decent aid package (as a single mom making 115k so DEFINITELY apply) and tuition was only [b]going to be 7k out of pocket[/b] BUT the summer was longer, the fundraisers were intimating and aftercare was more expensive comparatively to our local public.  Also the private didn't have busing so that was a factor as well as a single mom being solely responsible for pick ups and drop offs. [/quote]
