Marshall has a lot of new programs and plans going for it because they are pushing hard and the test scores aren't very different.

I wouldn't discount Marshall.

It also helps that Ryan McElveen went there and actively lobbies for the school.  For years, the Hunter Mill and Providence School Board members only looked out after other pyramids - Stu Gibson only cared about South Lakes and Patty Reed and her predecessor were both from Oakton.  Reed has stepped up her game since McElveen was elected on issues affecting the Marshall pyramid. [/quote]
