Marshall has a lot of new programs and plans going for it because they are pushing hard and the test scores aren't very different.
I wouldn't discount Marshall.
Another factor is commute, do you really want to live further out and be land locked by 66

No one knows what will happen to Westbriar yet, but my suspicion is that it will end up similar to Louise Archer. LA is a great school with a lot going for it-- but because of its relatively small natural boundary, and lots of kids from further away, I think it does change the "community" feel of the school.
Wolftrap and Flint Hill both has local Level IV AAP programs, and I've heard good things about both schools. If you feel strongly about AAP, you may want to look in a zone that has a LOCAL (versus Center) AAP program. Then you will likely have a choice about staying in the home school versus sending to a center.
