Paris to a 4 year old will not be a 'bonus'. It will just be another cold, grey city. A bonus to a four year old is swimming in the ocean in December or patting dolphins or skiing/sledding in tons of snow and swimming in a heated pool at night under stars.  Tickets to paris over the holiday week push $1,000. That's a lot of money to bring a 4 year old to a place they will not appreciate.

I dunno. We tend to consider a trip to Europe as a family, a "family trip."

Op, you might prefer a beach vacation and that is fun too. But just wanted to let you know kids can have tons of fun in Paris or London during the winter as well. At lest mine had a blast.[/quote]
