I'm 29, DH is 33; we conceived our first on the first try (although I had been off the OCPs for 2 years -- had a copper IUD). Ironically, despite her protestations that she was sure nothing would come back abnormally...here we are: my day 21 P4 level was 3.54, which she says indicates I may not have ovulated last cycle (though I may have, just not on day 14, I suppose, since AF showed up 2 days after the test), and while my LH (3.6), FSH (3.6), estradiol (54.27), and TSH (1.3) were all normal, my AMH levels came back at 0.81 -- which I understand is quite low, particularly for someone my age. The nurse also said that my day 5 ultrasound showed "lots of follicles, which could indicate PCOS," though I have no other indicia (save a bit of acne). My cycles have always been short (24-26 days), but we've never figured out a satisfactory explanation. I wasn't able to speak with my doctor, but the nurse's VM simply said, "oh, so, she wants you to just keep trying for a while longer and 'come back if any of these things continue.'" Aside from railing against the unhelpfulness of my OB's nurse (although please do, it would make me feel better), any thoughts on where we might go from here? Success with these kinds of numbers? If so, with what kind of treatment? AMH numbers this bad this young? I understand that my poor AMH results may limit our options. This news came as an unpleasant surprise -- although we suspected it was possible I wasn't ovulating "well enough" and that was causing the LP issues, DOR/etc were never things that were on our radar.
