I'm not really seeing that poster as being a troll. What makes you think she is a troll? One thing I can tell you is that she is not anywhere near DC.
really? It doesn't strike you as odd that an out of town poster would come onto DCUM and look for advice for a baby who has not eaten for 20 hours? And that the baby has not had medical attention? And that supposedly the "authorities" would not intervene at all? And the dad sends the baby off to the aunt? Who has weaned four months ago but suddenly is not only able to relactate but is able to FULLY relactate within a few days, not just a few oz but enough to fully feed baby? And the baby WAS nursing through a supplemental nursing system, but then suddenly would only take breastmilk from a cup? But would not take formula? And they gave baby some rice cereal but then baby had to be weaned off of that? And then that this is being discussed on facebook? Seriously? Look the same troll posts all of the time. Maybe she's on vacation so she gets a new place to post from so you don't suspect. I would bet 1000 that it is a troll. And, the same troll should at least try to refrain from saying "ladies..." it's one of many fingerprints.
Just don't click on the thread if it upsets you so much. Christ.
The thread doesn't upset me in the slightest because it is pure fiction and not even very inspired fiction at that. But what upsets me is how someone comes on DCUM preying on the people who don't recognize obvious trolling. Jeff gives people the benefit of the doubt unless he can prove trolling. That's fine and probably for the best. But let's not delude ourselves into believing every f'd up tall tale told here.
Ok. Does anyone believe 100% of what they read on the internet? What is the big deal?
