It's been a long time since I've seen either, but I think Birth of a Nation and Gone With The Wind would be great - from another perspective. I would love to see GWTW from Mammy's perspective. I suppose that would just reinforce the stereotype of black women only playing maids and slaves, but she was my favorite character and I'd love to see her story fleshed out.[/quote]
