Telling one person you think a name is serious and would prefer something more modern or less predictable is a pretty mild thing. Elizabeth Grace is a perfectly nice name, but some people prefer other names and that's fine too. Saying that you find a name "serious" is hardly trashing it, it's just saying she prefers something different. Be honest, if your SIL had a baby and named them something not your style you wouldn't say anything to anyone?[/quote]
