I expect scores to tank. We, teachers, were not prepared by DCPS for Common Core Math. We were initially told that the test would reflect the old standards, although we were teaching common core standards. The new information tickled down in February. We were teaching old and new standards simultaneously. Preparing for months with material no longer deemed relevant. Also, many DCPS teachers had NO math materials - no text or pertinent resources. We had to find needles in haystacks all year. Common core materials had not been developed on a widespread basis. Extremely difficult finding adequate resources. DCPS put the cart before the horse. My crystal ball predicts that the overall results will be VERY disappointing. Be prepared for the SPIN.
I agree that math is a potential trouble spot. It floored me that they moved to common core standards but kept Everyday Math. Beyond ridiculous given the difference in basic philosophies between the two.
