The 9 named buildings named from A (annapolis) to I (Island) are the oceanfront highrises.  All units have ocean view.  Annapolis and Brandywine also have 'garden view' units that are on the ocean - which is a good reason to skip the lower floors in the high rises in those buildings, because the garden units are right in front.  Anything else at SC is not oceanfront.  the buildings are more or less the same but with different bedroom numbers.  The later letters were built later, so they might be marginally nicer, but there have been plenty of renovations in the northern buildings.  Each shares a pool with 1 other building except Edgewater, the one in the middle, which has its own and also a lobby, exercise room and indoor pool.  Depending when you go you might want to check if all the pools are open, if that matters to you.

Bethany is a nice old fashioned beach town.  Plenty of restaurants and basic retail, and , a low key boardwalk with a few t-shirt shops.  For rides and the like, you need to go to Rehoboth or OC - but beware that Funland (kiddie amusements in Rehoboth) and many other things close on Labor Day.  HTH[/quote]
