Then I spent two days rushing around Chicago looking at apartments before finding one that could move me in five weeks later. Lived on my cousin's couch for three weeks in Chicago.

The key is you have to be ready to move fast, and you have to be willing to spend the money. If I'd had to live in a hotel for three weeks waiting for my apartment had I not had a cousin, I was prepared financially to do that. [/quote]
