[/quote] It's weird to me that folks think that "doing IT" is some monolithic type of work that allows one to compare salaries across it. Doing IT tends to be what people say when they don't want to explain exactly what they do for whatever reason. You can't really say person A and person B both do IT, so their salaries should be comparable.[/quote]
