But lots of innocent kids get hurt with them year after year; the local news even shows firefighters demonstrating just how dangerous these can be and people still go out and get them someohow. They are really just too dangerous to be allowed for general sale. Something has to be done to protect the public. Thankfully, most blue states have already seen fit to outlaw fireworks; I am sure that's the case in most of Western Europe too - we should learn from them. [/quote]
