Its also about an hour away from my school where my classes are, they said I could work for other familys but if they want me to cook every night I dont know if I would be able to get much work. They want to pay me $250 a week for this and I live in the basement with my own bathroom.  
They had an au pair before.

How much should I really be getting paid? And how do I go about asking them for this?
