If what you say is true, then why are management/revenue generators/front office people more courteous and have spent time with me in terms of mentoring and networking even when i've emailed out of the cold regarding a particular position or area of a bank/fund/firm. Furthermore i have received more interviews and offers doing this instead of fucking with HR. These days with linkedin, it is even easier to this method as you can find people directly in the area/function and location of the firm in which you want to work in HR people on the other hand sometimes have treated me with contempt it is ridiculous.[/quote]
