As long as I've shown in my email that I have some idea of what they actually do, stuff they work on, and add a couple interesting questions that shows my genuine curiosity....I've gotten so much more help, advice, and job prospects going directly to the people who actually 'work'.

HR staff on the other hand have mostly always treated me with contempt and show zero respect....it's funny because when you look at the background of the former group vs the latter (on linkedin), HR people for the most part have zero business being bitchy assholes who think their shit don't stink.[/quote]
