You won't get much yield though :([/quote] I got everbearing strawberries at either Lowe's or HD 2 years ago and they're taking over my beds. Granted, each plant only produces a few berries at a time, so I'm never going to have tons at once for shortcake or whatever, but they produced until frost. It's more a regular hunt for berries and enough to drop in some yogurt or just eat off the bush. Very sweet and tangy berries, and I've been sharing plants with friends. Whatever you wind up doing, put some pennies or other copper around the plants to keep slugs away. [/quote]
