I thought that the post to which I was replying implied that. My point is also that there are plenty of smart capable students that are not in AAP. AAP is not the end all and be all. It works well for some students. It works okay for others, and it doesn't work for a few others. Longfellow has a very high level of student achievement no matter how you slice it. It should, many (if not most) of the students have the advantages that children should get. I am not sure why you are so defensive.[/quote]
