I know everyone says it’s impossible OOS, but our school has had great results the past two years. It’s not the “tippy top” kids who have gotten in from our school EA. (Those kids consistently get deferred EA + waitlisted RD + accepted in late May/early June if they stick it out on the WL.) It’s the next tier down that tend to get in - smart kids with very high GPAs but not quite the same rigor or SAT scores. They’re the kids who are very involved with school-based ECs and the school community. Again, not the showy “start a non-profit and win every possible academic award” kids.
