The A1H for 6th grade requirements are not hard to hit. Advanced Math at our school was decided in fall after all the kids had a chance to retake the assessments, the decision also included iReady scores, now MAP, SOL scores, grades, and teacher recommendations. Not all schools tell parents in the spring. I would guess that your kid is fine for math if he was in it this year and got good grades. [/quote]
