[/quote] Well there is a rise in homeschooling so it is [b]representative of something bigger[/b].[/quote] In my case, active shooter and lockdown drills and actual occurrences were what made me decide to homeschool. One of my children has sn and the drills were affecting them. Opting out of the pressure of standardized tests, disruptive environments and crowded schools has made a huge difference for my dcs. One of my dcs is now a rising college sophomore and the other is dual enrolled and will graduate high school next year with an AA. For my family, homeschooling was superior to public school...and we are far from wealthy. [/quote]
