There are a mix of homes - small ranches, mid-sized split levels, colonials, and some large newer builds (though not enough to make it look like a tear-down neighborhood). The neighborhood association hosts a Halloween parade and a Labor Day picnic, and the City of Fairfax hosts a monthly summer concert series (Rock the Block), great seasonal festivals (Fall Fest, Asian Fest, 4th of July parade and fireworks), and regular farmers market and flea market.[/quote]
