[/quote] I don't really agree with this - "one singular top that can stand on its own" is a really big category to say is completely out and certainly does not only evoke the 2010s. Layering can be hot in the summer! And people don't only wear blazers and cardigans. What has changed is that tops are boxier now, a bit more oversized. I have also been on a journey to find more work tops and have been shopping at a lot of the same stores -- J Crew, BR, Madewell, Evereve have lots of good stuff and then many higher end brands. Nordstrom is your friend. [/quote]
