I used to teach at a low income HS and they focused a lot more on SOLs. Because of this, we had more pass advanced and perfect scores. Now I teach at a high SES HS and the SOLs are not focused on at all. The students know they just need to pass one in HS and it doesn’t matter if it’s a 400 or 600. More rush though it and there are fewer pass advanced. I have not had a 600 in any of my math classes in over 5 years at least now. It was before Covid. [/quote]
