Gloria Duda in NoVA did mine. She is great, and I have no regrets (except I wish I'd done it sooner).
Did you look smaller? I have large breasts and I was planning reduction and lift but I heard that a lift will also decrease the volume a little. How was the recovery?
Yes, they looked smaller after my surgery. Not small, but smaller. Mine had grown very large and pendulous with aging and weight gain, and the left was noticeably (at least to me) bigger than the right. Very saggy and large and matronly. The best part of the result of my surgery was how she made them equal in size and shape and lifted them up. She did take a lot of volume out, and liposuctioned on the sides under my arms because I had a lot of tissue there, but they didn't end up being all that much smaller at the end of the day. Not in bra size anyway. But they still looked and felt soooo much better. I remember when i consulted with her and mentioned a size I'd like to be, she explained why she didn't recommend that, and then explained what she thought would look best given my frame. I trusted her and I'm glad I did. I had been focused on "smaller." Much smaller. She was focused on what would work well to look best on my body. And with her experience she knew. I'm glad I trusted her knowledge and insight. Recovery is a long-ish process. You don't get the surgery and then pop into Trousseau a month later looking to buy pretty new bras. You are in surgical bra for a while and then supportive recovery appropriate sports bras for a while as well. It's a pretty significant surgery. But no regrets, aside from not doing it sooner.
