I guess kids don’t work during the summer like we used to?[/quote] I think this is the reason when our pool has this early practice for 13+ as well, but pretty much all those kids work summer jobs at the pool- so could totally have a later practice. My kids are actually pretty fine with the early start (and hard core club swimmers probably feel like they are sleeping in, lol) but it does seem nuts. Especially because the younger kids need to get to camp- so it would make sense for them to have the earlier practice![/quote]
