Things I liked -

Show not Tell - did this so so well

Flawed and believable characters

Sharp commentary and insights into many things - difficulties of single motherhood, male vs female sexuality, social media, feminism, Mother Mary too

So much of the narrative was spun around the work of taking care of a baby - nursing, soothing, sleep, feeding - realistic but not dull

Margo the protagonist was let down by so many of the people around her - parents, the Professor who impregnated her, her former best friend but she doesn’t come off as bitter or angry at them

Didn’t like -

Ending kind of wrapped up abruptly but guess it had to end some way ultimately

The sex work that Margo did in OnlyFans was something that would have long term impact on her mental well being but it was kind of dismissed lightly

The tv show preview doesn’t look like a true adaption of the book, it would have been better adapted as a movie than a long series
