It doesn't *have* to be Pitt, but the tip to find a rolling admissions school and apply early isn't a horrible one in the crap shoot of the college admissions game. I'm unclear why you seem to feel targeted. Like most things, take what works for you and leave what doesn't. No need to get you pants in a twist.
