Apparently the x ray showed fluid/inflammation in his stomach, so they kept him a few hours for observation, fluids and repeat x rays, which were also inconclusive. The vet did a quick ultrasound that did not show any mechanical obstruction and the radiologist looked at the x rays and said the same thing. Fast forward to a week later he was doing really well on prescription food, so I took the pup back for a cytopoint shot for seasonal allergies and he started vomiting again. The next day, I took him back to vet for another  cerenia shot to stop vomiting. The vet now wants to do a full abdominal ultrasound because they are very concerned there could be a tumor or other debris. Has anyone had this type of experience and everything came out ok?[/quote]
