Op here. Thank you for your response. My dog also vomited last year when given cytopoint. Glad we are not alone but hate that the pups have that happen and vets don’t acknowledge it!

Op here. I am starting to agree with this. My dogs bloodwork was also normal. And we have gotten two different opinions from the same practice. It’s infuriating. Thank you!

I need some calming perspective on this: my 5 year old , 7 lb Yorkie mix typically has a sensitive stomach so we are usually careful.
A couple weeks ago, he had a larger portion of food than he should have and vomited that night, and then on and off for a couple days. It wasn’t bad at first but did escalate so we took him in to vet. Vet gave a cerenia shot and they offered an x ray. Apparently the x ray showed fluid/inflammation in his stomach, so they kept him a few hours for observation, fluids and repeat x rays, which were also inconclusive. The vet did a quick ultrasound that did not show any mechanical obstruction and the radiologist looked at the x rays and said the same thing. Fast forward to a week later he was doing really well on prescription food, so I took the pup back for a cytopoint shot for seasonal allergies and he started vomiting again. The next day, I took him back to vet for another cerenia shot to stop vomiting. The vet now wants to do a full abdominal ultrasound because they are very concerned there could be a tumor or other debris. Has anyone had this type of experience and everything came out ok?
