That being said, maybe your kid is missing some emails? Ours got Rodman(the echols equivalent for engineering) and they also received 3-4 emails from UVA between Feb and April encouraging days on the lawn as well as inviting to reach out to faculty, and we got an email as parents. UVA had a similar level of post-acceptance engagement as the ivy/elites she got into. Interest but not begging, and minimal swag.[/quote]
