True, there have always been fights and middle school is the time where these issues peak. Now there's a serious push to get everyone through middle school at their assigned school in FCPS. Getting a kid placed into a middle school CSS is nearly impossible unless there's a serious assault that leaves someone badly injured or a weapon involved. High schools are much quicker to do it. There are all kinds of alternate programs where the kids with behavior problems are placed.[/quote]
