I live in Reston and know that neighborhood.  While the neighborhood is nice, the location of that particular house isn't ideal.  The houses on the lake are the best obviously, but the streets behind the lakefront row are very cramped and there isn't much open space.  That house backs to the corner of Sunrise Valley Drive and South Lakes Dr.  Although titled "Drives", they are actually 4 lane commuter roads with office buildings and retail all along them with a few neighborhood entrances.  Sunrise Valley is also not very crossable from the entrance to the neighborhood.

Reston has many, many townhouse communities that I would choose over that one.  As for the commute, I take the Herndon Metro to L'Enfant Plaza and it's about an hour.  Herndon, Town Center and Wiehle Metro Stations are all about 3 minutes apart.[/quote]
