So they may not get their major choice - but they still get any major in COLA or just non-impacted ones?[/quote] Yes, you rank your first and second and maybe third choice, I can’t remember. For example, people who are applying to McCombs business often will put economics as their second major since that major is actually in the College of Liberal arts and an easier admit. If they do not get into their first or second choice, then they get put into COLA general studies or something, and then try to transfer into a desired major for their sophomore year. But that is not guaranteed either. [/quote]
