I don’t know about mentioning Georgetown though. Notre Dame knows applicants love it (yield for a school without ED is insane) and they might be less inclined to want to triumphantly win cross-admit battles with a fellow Catholic school than you think. Risky to put that so openly on the table… Kid should instead be acting with grace, and reiterate that they love Notre Dame and will definitely attend and any new info supporting application…don’t mention other schools.[/quote]
