It essentially allows students to belong to tons of fulfilling and resume-building clubs without having to stay after school to do it. It also eliminates conflicts between key afterschool clubs and other activities like athletics, marching band, or theatre. You have tons of kids who are able to be fully-committed three sport varsity athletes but also participate fully in Science Olympiad, Model UN, Debate Team, and the like.[/quote]
