My understanding is that AAU teams play from spring through summer, but we aren't looking to go down that rabbit hole yet. The plan is to let trying out for 5th grade FCYBL and hopefully the resulting season of same be our introduction to a more competitive basketball experience.

For summer, what are good local-ish basketball camps (i.e. not sleepaway)? We have done some through FCPA, but now want to look for a more dedicated basketball camp within driving distance. Growing up, most of the ones I did were through colleges. It looks like GMU and Marymount have summer youth basketball camps, any feedback on these?[/quote]
