This is SO not true. Do you even have kids? What are you doing replying to a post like this when you obviously don't have teens -- it sounds like you haven't even gone through adolescence yourself yet! Lots of people go through SHIT periods during their teen years, which are universally acknowledged as the most miserable and stressful years of many people's lives, and turn out to be fine adults.
