We live in western NY and we know so many kids who are happy and thriving at Geneseo, Buffalo, and Binghamton! Though people like to say Binghamton is the “best” of the SUNY schools, it’s not like some states where there’s a big drop off after the “flagship”. Bing is indeed excellent, but each SUNY school has its own strengths. (Geneseo is right near Letchworth Park and the Finger Lakes, which are stunning!) Finally, before everyone starts raging about the bad weather, know that student life doesn’t slow down in winter. The kids all roll with it just like in New England and in Michigan, Wisconsin etc. [/quote]
