I have no connection with Georgetown but this article appears to be just one kid’s opinion and college newspapers are notorious for complaining about their colleges. Georgetown football will never be a big deal there. In fact, they did away with the sport for several years a few decades ago. Basketball was very small time before John Thompson turned it into a national power, but it has not been very successful since 2010 or so. If they can develop winning teams the fans will return. As far as sports and school spirit are concerned I think it would be best to view it as a large liberal arts college in an urban setting.[/quote]
