Marmoleum
I have it in my house and I hate it. I have the click tile product, the sheet product may be better. But the tiles constantly come apart, I whack them back with a rubber mallet but it's only temporary. It's advertised as "water resistant," but it can't stand any water at all, the substrate swells up. It was expensive and I regret it every time I look at it.
First part sounds like bad installation I had Marmoleum click too and no problems with it coming apart Did have slight warping of the tiles close to sink, not too noticeable but yes need to clean spills promptly
