A lot of women can totally take it or leave it with sex. Really not a necessity. However….. women do want an emotional connection with men. There are lots of ways women could get this emotional connection from men - talking, quality time, cuddling etc. However, paradoxically, men will only make themselves emotionally available when they’re having sex. See above. So while women are theoretically okay to emotionally connect through a variety of outlets, practically women need to have sex with men to find an emotionally available man.

The end result: men and women who need sex equally. But only because men need sex. Women don’t need sex. But they need sex because they need men and men need sex.[/quote]
