And amazing to see the girls parents carry on and on here because if you are used to watching boys games, girls games are so terrible!
Thanks boy parent for dumping on the girls. When there are (5) Mid-Atlantic based boys called up to the USYNT team camp, check back in with us, ok? Seriously, I get it. The games and play is different between boys and girls right? But some of it is comparing levels of play. I can tell you that I would much rather watch my DD's U17 ECNL team play than my son's HS team. They are night and day different with their understanding of the game, tactics, style of play, etc. Her team plays at such a higher quality than his...but, you be you!
trololol
What are you saying? I stand by the statement I made - the quality of soccer that is played with my DD's U17 ECNL team is so much higher that what was played at my son's HS team it's not even close. The goalies at HS spent the entire game punting it back and forth and if they did happen to play out of the back, the defenders would entirely try to skip the mids and play it long to a forward streaking down the sideline. There was no thought, no tactics at all. I think that if there was a sequence where they connected more than 3 passes in a row, it was worthy of a celebration. Look, my son's HS team was not great compared to some of the privates in VA and in our area as well. They made the VHSL playoffs once at of his 9th to 12 grade years there. And then it was by pure luck of having a couple of kids that knew what they were doing. It's telling that they had his senior hear, they had (2) ECNL players - the highest that was available to us here as there is no MLSN teams - that attempted to play with them and saw what a shitshow the soccer was and quit after a couple of games.
