However, only the final grade will be on the transcript and it’s an average of all the grades throughout the year. Teachers have said grades usually up being the same or even better than if a traditional gradebook was used. The nice thing is if your child is absent at the end of the quarter and misses test, they can just make up the tests when they return and the grade can instantly be updated as soon as the info is entered. There are no hard deadlines to get it in by a certain date as in a traditional gradebook which closes by a certain time.[/quote]
