I have paid for two deep cleans in the past two years on ramblers that were about 2000 sq ft. Both cost between 500 and $600 before tip. You have to pay a lot more for a deep clean.[/quote]

LOL. You don't tip cleaners unless you are a fool. Cleaners never declare their earnings so that $200 is really $300 and that $600 is really $800.

OP, I run a 650 unit property management company.  Do not pay more than $350. And go with cleaners that have insurance (ask for the COI) and have been around for at least 10 years.
