But when I went to the dentist for a regular cleaning about 6 months after starting Wegovy, the hygienist was amazed and asked "What are you doing? Your gums are completely better?" This was after years of seeing me and my periodontal disease. She called the dentist in, and the dentist said "Oh, are you on a GLP-1?" and I said "Yes," and she said "That's it. We're seeing majorly reduced inflammation from it." [/quote]
