They enforce their mandate with their weapons. A credible force with a strong mandate could bring relief to the civilians in Gaza, while hopefully keeping HAMAS and other local designated terrorist organizations, in check. In contrast, we have all seen the failed farce known as the “U.N. Peacekeeping group” (I refuse to call them a force), in Southern Lebanon, who do nothing beyond facilitate Hezbollah’s activities in the area.[/quote]
