Ideal is for all students to go to their home school, but the home schools are in no way equal and that's an issue for all kids, in particular the more advanced students. The reason why families like the DCC is that you have the possibility if you understand what's going on and can make it work to lottery into another school. With the new plan, the only option is to COSA. Most, not all, of the county council live in the W or BCC zones where their kids have enough offerings to keep them challenged and competative.[/quote]
